Spring Fling 2009
We need your support at our Second Annual "Spring Fling" fundraiser May 8, 2009 7pm - 12:30am, at The Syndicate in Newport, Kentucky.
Online registration has closed but you are still urged to attend. Simply register at the door as a "walk-in" attendee.
Our mission is to educate the public and physicians on the need for genetic testing, if an individual has a significant family history of breast and/or ovarian cancer.
While most people are aware that some cancers may have a genetic or hereditary component, few know that a simple blood test can determine if you have a genetic predisposition to develop breast, ovarian and/or colon cancer. Once someone is aware of the risk there are safe and effective medical options that can prevent the cancer or allow for early detection when the cancer is more likely to be at a more treatable stage.
We are now asking for your support to help us achieve our goals, starting with our second annual CheckYourGenes.org event on May 8, 2009 at The Syndicate in Newport, Kentucky. In 2009, we would like to expand our advertising awareness campaign within and outside the tri-state area. We are exploring all types of advertising via national publications, network television and speaking opportunities around the country.
In addition to raising money from ticket sales to the event and our silent auction, we also have several sponsorship levels that may be of interest to you or your company:
- Platinum Gene Link Sponsor - $4000, includes prominent recognition at the event and on all publicity materials, plus 14 tickets to the event.
- Teal Ribbon Sponsor - $3000, includes prominent recognition at event and all publicity materials, plus 10 tickets to the event
- Pink Ribbon Sponsor - $1500, includes prominent recognition at event, plus 6 tickets to the event
- Host/Hostess - $250, includes your name or company name listed in event programs, plus 2 tickets to the event
- Event Attendee - $75 per ticket
